Today, on this last day of 2012, we thought we would give you a quick preview of what this blog will look like (generally speaking) moving into 2013. We are excited to tell you that we have mapped out the entire year in terms of posts, and we are going to make every effort to give coverage to all of the issues that may be on your mind in regards to marketing your company.
We are going to be offering two new “feature” topics every week in 2013. Every Monday, we are going to add to a series called “Manage Your Marketing.” These posts will be big picture topics like how to deal with products that might make your messaging seem contradictory or inconsistent, or how to hire for the kind of culture you want on your marketing team and in your company in general. The week will be book-ended with a Friday feature called “Five Tips Friday.” As you might suspect, these posts will incorporate five tips on all kinds of different subjects ranging from the best ways to create a news release to the best ways to avoid corporate blog death.
Wednesday will remain an open day. We’ll use Wednesdays posts to comment on a blog post or a story of interest or to talk about something that caught our attention.
That’s our plan, all wrapped up and tied with a bow. We’ll be getting started this Wednesday with our first post of the new year. In the meantime, we wish a safe and Happy New Year to you and yours!
